The Lytle Junior Varsity Softball team continued to improve last week, getting closer to winning their games. On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, the girls took on Dilley at home and fell in three innings. The highlight of the game was the inside-the-park home run by Evelyn Diaz in the second inning, which drove in three runs.

On Friday, March 25, 2022, the Junior Varsity Lady Pirates hosted Karnes City Junior Varsity, and lost regardless of their earnest effort. Pitcher Rose Scotello struck out a batter, and our offense run-ruled Karnes City in two of the three innings that they played. I'm beyond proud of the effort these girls are showing.
