On Thursday, August 25, 2022, the Junior Varsity football team traveled to Jefferson High School for the first game of the season. Obvious first game jitters were on display, but after a few series everyone settled in. The JV consists of 95% Freshmen and we were told we would play their Freshman team. When we arrived, it was Jefferson’s JV team that lined up against us. We battled it out and were down 16 – 12 in the fourth quarter. A late Jefferson score ended the night. Shout out to a few players that seemed to be on the field ALL game, Travis Norton, Christopher Jaques, Thomas Rubal, Noah Smoot, Jack Mills, Juan Patlan, Kaden Aguinaga and Isaiah Leven. Our staff was immensely proud of the effort.
