Last Friday, September 16, 2022, the Pirate football team faced Natalia in the annual Legacy Bowl. It was a tough, physical contest for our team, but one of the many things that makes our coaching staff proud is how hard our teams plays, regardless of the score. Our players and coaching staff have committed to where our program is headed and we are already ahead of where we were a year ago. We refuse to give up and know that, with hard work, commitment and a willingness to work for the teammate and coach beside us, success will come. It already has. We have experienced triumph and loss, and through it all, our kids continue to prepare and “fight the good fight!” We are approaching the midpoint of our season and have made great strides, offensively, defensively and on special teams. Our coaching staff and players have been working hard, both in the classroom and on the field, and we can assure our Pirate Family that great days are ahead when you look at the Faith and Heart of our team.
