Congratulations to both the girls and the boys for being crowned Meet Champions in the 1-3A division in Round Rock this morning, September 23, 2022.
The girls win their fourth straight Meet (FEAST, Bandera, Islander, McNeil) and were 2nd in the first 2 (Floresville, Medina Valley). We had 3 finishes in the top 10 and beat #3 Poth in the process. The #1 team Holliday ran in the earlier division and our times are very comparable to theirs. If we can heal, we have a great chance of getting on the medal stand this year.
The Boys are still UNDEFEATED. Best start in my 20 years and we hope that they too can stay healthy and improve on last year's 3rd place State finish.
The kids got a chance to take a picture with Marble Falls great Leo Manzano who was a silver medalist in the 2012 London Olympics in the 1500m.
