The girls traveled to Cole on Friday, December 9, 2022, and came out with great defense and energy. We took the win 70-52. This was a big win for the girls and a great team effort. We were 21/25 from the free throw line and had 28 steals. We continued to press the entire game and in the 4th quarter Cole was tired and we took over and never looked back. We held them to eight points in the 4th quarter. I am so proud of the girls, we had four players in double figures and Mac Sessom had her first double-double with 13 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 deflections and 2 steals.
Calyssa Sevier had another double-double with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 deflections and 13 steals.
Cadee Martinez had 17 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 deflections and 4 steals.
Katara Whitefield had 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 deflections and 5 steals.
Amelia Martinez had 2 points, 1 rebound, 3 deflections and 2 steals.
Lunna Reyes had 2 points and 1 rebound.
The girls are now 12-6 for the season. Go Pirates!
