12-12-2022 Elementary UIL Meet

This past Saturday, December 10, 2022, Lytle Elementary hosted the UIL Meet. There were 8 schools: Encinal, Ramirez-Burks, Lorenzo De Zavala, Benito-Juarez, Dilley, Hondo, Lytle and Natalia, and the competition was fierce. We are so proud of the students who practiced hard and took part in the Meet. Their preparation paid off!

Thank you so much to the elementary school staff for helping to decorate/prepare our campus, direct/monitor/grade events, walk participants to their testing locations, assist with questions from other schools, run concessions, clean up after the event, and I’m sure a million other things… You all are AMAZING!

Thank you to the parents that volunteered their time to help decorate our campus, monitor students in the cafeteria, and assist with events. We love you!

Thank you to our maintenance and custodial crews for cleaning up the landscaping and the classrooms. You always do a fantastic job!

Thank you to the culinary arts teachers and students for preparing and serving the meal in our hospitality room for our guests. It was delicious!

Thank you to the elementary leadership team for putting in early and late hours to help prepare to host this event…you are ROCKSTARS!

Lastly, thank you to the UIL coaches who put in countless hours preparing students for these events and helping direct the contests at the meet. You and your students represented Lytle Elementary well! Here is a list of the winners:
