The girls traveled to Poth last night, December 12, 2022. I’m not a major fan of Monday night games but we beat Poth 63-50 and kept the winning streak over them for the past three years. If you have ever been to Poth gym, you know how hard it can be to play there with their fans. We only had eight players last night, but all eight gave everything they had for this team to win. We were 18/24 from the free throw line and scored 21 points off their turnovers. We started off a little slow, but in the 2nd quarter we made some adjustments and went man-to-man no press and took the lead going into halftime. Calyssa Sevier hit a half-court shot from mid-court at the buzzer.
Every game we have had someone step up and last night it was Amelia Martinez with a season high of 12 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 deflections and 2 steals. This was her best game last night!

Cadee Martinez had 17 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists, 8 deflections and 2 steals.
Katara Whitfield had 8 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 deflections and 1 charge.
