Lytle Independent School District

The girls opened District play Friday night, January 6, 2023, in Natalia and took Natalia down, 67-30. We had 32 steals and caused Natalia to turn the ball over 45 times. We were 4/5 from the free throw line. The girls played as a TEAM, sharing the ball and everyone was involved in the offense. We had 7 out of the 10 girls score. We pressed the entire game and you can see we are finally in basketball shape. The girls are now 15-10 for the season and 1-0 in District play. We will play a good Cotulla team here tomorrow night, January 10, 2023, tip-off at 6:15pm.

• Calyssa Sevier - double-double with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 15 deflections and 10 steals.
• Katara Whitfield - double-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 1 steal.
• Fizz Hutton - double-double with 10 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists, 7 deflections and 8 steals.
• Cadee Martinez - 7 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 deflections and 7 steals.
• Amelia Martinez - 7 points, 1 rebound, 3 deflections and 2 steals.
• Mac Sessom - 4 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 deflections and 1 steal.
• Rose Scotello - 2 points and 2 rebounds.
• Jessica Mata - 2 rebounds.
• Lunna Reyes - 5 rebounds, 1 deflection, and 2 steals.
• Arianna Garcia - 2 rebounds and 1 steal.
