Here at Lytle, we are a big believer in cross-curriculum activities and that includes our basketball team. Knowing we had Natalia on the first day back from the Holidays, January 5, 2023, not being able to practice, we used cross-curriculum activities over the holidays to prepare and we thought we would share how the boys practiced on their own to get ready.
That said, our boys started slowly on the A and B Teams but found their skills and pulled out victories.
The “Jop Shop” boys did it again with a barn burner and a 10-8 win. B-Team is rolling and looking forward to keeping things that way.
The A-Team figured out who they were and put together an excellent second half to finish the victory off with a final score of 45-15. Seth Pierce had another offensive explosion and the hustle and defense of Ethan Elizondo paced the way.
Our boys are undefeated and hope that you will come and support them on Thursday against Cotulla and keep this magic going.
