Today, February 15, 2023, Art 3, 4, and Club students visited the McNay art museum. They were able to identify artists from movements that we've studied in class, as well as techniques that they've used or will use in the future. Several students took notes or sketched pieces that they wanted to investigate more. After we returned, we had some great discussions about how they can apply their inspiration to their work. All in all, a successful day! Thanks to Mr. Salazar for tagging along with us, and to Chessa Hartley-Mapes for documenting the experience!
