Lytle Baseball competed in the Marion Baseball Tournament this past weekend. We learned a lot about our team. We learned that adversity comes in many forms. The scoreboard shows 4 losses, but the scoreboard doesn't always tell the whole story. Our team is young and continues to improve.
Highlights from the tournament:
- Devin Cordova blasted a 2-run homerun over the left field wall against Marion to tie the game at 10 - 10.
- Jair Flores and Toby Davila both had 4 hits.
- Colin Wood pitched very well versus Blanco, allowing 3 hits in 3 1/3 innings.
Our next game is tonight at home versus Brackettville. JV will play at 4:30. Varsity starts at 7:00.
