The Lady Pirate softball team travelled to Bandera last night, March 7, 2023, and played one of their best games all season, winning 12-2.
Even though our score shows a great offensive game, it was our defense that created the win. Defensively, we held them to 7 hits, 2 runs, and left 6 on base.
Alyssa Montalvo made great plays from center field and Anissa Perez did a great job behind the plate. Addison Criado got the win as she pitched 5 innings, striking out 2. Moriah Gomez finished the game striking out 1 for the night.
Offensively, we had 13 hits, 11 RBIs, and only 1 strikeout.
Congrats to Natalie Pacheco who earned another Homerun, making 8 for the season. The ladies are now 10-8 for the season and will travel to Wimberly on Friday, March 10.
