Shout out to the Boys Golf team for a great first day at the District Golf Tournament yesterday, April 3,2023. The boys are in 2nd place and 3 of the golfers shot their personal best scores yesterday. Matt DeLaFuente shot 118 in his first golf tournament. Daniel Herrera shot a 108, Hudson Mask shot 89 and Khye Stewart carded a 75. Khye is the District leader after the 1st day. Wednesday is the second and final round. Wish these golfers well if you see them around campus.
I am so proud of our golf team's 3rd place finish at the District Tournament. The team of Khye Stewart, Hudson Mask, Daniel Herrera and Matt DeLaFuente represented our school with pride. Khye Stewart's 2nd place finish qualified him for the Regional Golf Tournament in Kerrville later this month.
This concludes our regular season. A shout out to all those at the high school for accommodating these players with all the days off from school that golf requires. It does not go unnoticed.
