The Junior Varsity traveled with the Junior High to San Antonio on Saturday, September 23, 2023, to compete in the River City Believers Invitational. We are starting to get to the end of the season as this was the second to last Meet before District.
The Junior Varsity boys started the day running in the Varsity 5K Division. Both Nathan Garza and Kaden Aguinaga finished in the top 15, both set new Personal Records and helped the team to a 3rd place finish behind Cornerstone and San Antonio Christian.
The Junior Varsity girls had four of the 6 finishes in the top 15 in the Varsity 2-mile Division with both Isabella Sewell and Addison Wagner leading their group to a second-place finish behind San Antonio Christian. We also had 3 of the 6 runners finish with Personal Records.
The team next travels to Poth for their last Meet of the year before District on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
