This past Friday, January 10th, the Pirates took on the Devine Warhorses and came up on the losing end. The Pirates shot 21% percent from the field all game which means we could not make or buy a shot to save our lives. On the positive side of things, Senior Robert Ibarra scored 20 points and put his name in the record books hitting 1,000 career point total. Robert becomes Lytle's third player in the last two years to reach this milestone. Its unheard of for a school to have 3 players hit the 1000 mark in two years so it says a lot about the the growth of our basketball program over the last few years. If you see him please congratulate him on his accomplishment. Go Pirates!
