Last evening, November 10, 2022, the 7th Grade boys tipped off their season versus the rival Poth Pirates. On a very quick turnaround from football, the boys adapted and put in a hard three days of practice to prepare for a tough opponent. The game started off like we all predicted, fast paced and a little out of control. However, after we settled in, the game was able to come to us more naturally. With a few stops and steals that led to some quick transition points, the boys found themselves in a close battle at half. Stamina and foul trouble would put us behind come the second half and ultimately out of range for a comeback. The boys never quit and always continued to play hard, fast, and physically tough. I believe that as the season goes on, there is only room for improvement and growth. We look forward to the challenges to come!
