Yesterday afternoon, September 8, 2022, the Lady Lytle Pirates traveled to a hot Cotulla gym, and played some great volleyball. 

The B-teams started out the evening and began our night with some good serving and good competition. The 7th grade B team girls are starting to come together and played good volleyball together last night. The girls played two 15 min. timed games and the games came down to the very last second. Unfortunately, we did not pull of a win but they played amazingly. The scores for their game were 17-18 and 15-16. The B team girls also played some great VB and with good serving and the girls playing well together they pulled off a win, 24-13 and 19-15. 

Our A-teams came out and were ready to play some VB. Our 7th grade A-team came out and with some great serving from Evelyn Barco our girls won the first set 25-9. The second set was not as great for the girls and we fell short 11-25. We finished our third set with again some great serving by all the girls and Madison Hernandez making some great saves to pull off a win, 15-12. Our 8th grade girls finished out the night and while we did not pull of a win, Payton Devaney had some awesome serves, and the girls are starting to show good court awareness.
