Lytle JV 6 - Cotulla JV 4 

Pirate baseball hosted the Cotulla Cowboys on Friday, April 28, 2022 for the final game of District 27AAA competition.   

Caleb Wood picked up the win on the mound. Caleb threw 6 innings, striking out 11. He was relieved by Colin Wood in the 7th. 

The Pirate offense struck first, scoring 4 runs on 3 hits in the first inning. Colin Wood, JP Del Toro and Zak Placido each had an RBI. 

Overall, we scored 8 runs on 6 hits. 

Highlights include hits by: Colin Wood, Malakai Casto, Caleb Wood, Justin Deleon, Mason Davila and Roland Cordova 

Overall, we finished in 3rd place and will play Tidehaven in the Bi-District Round in Flatonia, Texas.
