Day 1 is in the books for the Region IV-3A Meet in Seguin, April 29, 2022. We had 2 events that Lytle was participating in, the Boys 3200m and Girls 4x400m Relay. 

Jose Cortez finished 6th with a new Personal Record after coming in as the 11th seed. It was a great run for him and helped set up his favorite race today, the 1600m. 

The Girls 4x4 broke the school record again with a 4:08.26 and put themselves in contention. No matter what happens today, I am so proud of them and all of our athletes. These girls started at 4:18 on March 3, 2022, and have brought it down to 4:08. We are mid-long distance kids trying to live in a sprinter world and they have held their own. But now we know that they will load up this afternoon and I hope that we will have enough to hold most of them off.
