Just a quick update on our 7th and 8th grade softball players: 

These girls have continued to work hard and improve throughout their short season. Last Thursday, April 21, 2022, they traveled to Natalia, and 7th Grade defeated the Mustangs 10-7, a significant improvement over their showing from a few weeks before. 8th Grade fell 4-3, but played with incredible energy. 

This past Saturday, April 23, 2022, they took part in the Jourdanton Tournament. We could only take 12 players, so I took a mix from 7th and 8th Grade. They played against teams with much more playing experience, but competed with pride and dignity. We had some bumps and bruises (and almost knocked off a talented Cotulla team), but overall, I couldn't be prouder of them. If you see them in the hallways, please congratulate them. Also, our parents in the stands were outstanding. We had incredible support, even in defeat.  

They've come so far, and I'm blessed to have been their coach.
