Lytle Baseball traveled to Stockdale to face Karnes City last night.  

On the trip down, we thought our bus was breaking down...then it didn't. When we arrived in Stockdale, we thought we were going to get rained out...then it stopped. And, after our 6th inning rally, we thought we had the game won...but we didn't. The beauty of the game of baseball is this...if you have an out, you have a chance. There is no clock. Karnes City taught us this valuable lesson last night. Hats off to them. 

Justin Deleon started on the mound and went 5 innings, striking out 8 and allowing 3 earned runs. He was relieved by Caleb Wood in the 6th.  

Highlights include: Caleb Wood was 2 for 2 with an RBI, Zak Placido was 1 for 2 with an RBI 

Overall Record: 10 - 11
