1-26-2023 January is Board Appreciation Month!

At Monday night's January Board of Trustees meeting, January 23, 2023, our campus principals, Athletics, Special Education Department and all of our Lytle Leadership team took a few minutes to show-and-tell our Board Members how much we appreciate their guidance and support for our Lytle schools. Says Superintendent Michelle Carroll Smith, "Lytle ISD is blessed to have a dedicated team of civic-minded individuals who give their time so students can achieve their dreams. Thank you for serving our community."

Mayor Ruben Gonzalez kicked things off with a reading of a City of Lytle Proclamation recognizing the tireless work of Trustees LeeAnna Mask (President), Mae Flores (Secretary), Reagan Wagner, Bobby Sollock, Bobby Duty and Alan Brown. Says Mayor Gonzalez, "This old boy from a border town knows how much education paved the way for success in life. Lytle schools took good care of my youngest son, who graduated from here, and now both of my sons, along with my wife, enjoy working in your amazing educational environment. The work of this board has guided Lytle schools in paving the way to success: Success in supporting your leaders, teachers and staff, who in turn give their best to ensure success for so many students and their families."
