2-13-2023 Skull Studios Documentary Makes it to the Semi-Finals
All three of the Skull Studios film entries made it to the semi-finals, and one of the documentaries, "Housing the Unhoused", was selected as a State finalist!
Housing the Unhoused is a documentary that our students made in partnership with Housing First Community Coalition and Towne Twin Village.
"This documentary explains the history of Towne Twin Village, its construction, methodologies, and passion for helping the unhoused."
Both of our documentary films qualified for the Nobelity Award, Housing the Unhoused and Extreme Hardship to Extraordinary Success.
"The Nobelity Social Impact Award celebrates student films that inform their audiences about issues that affect their communities, and inspire social change."
Next Wednesday, February 22, 2023, we will travel to UT Austin to participate in the State Film Festival. I am very proud of our students and excited to let everyone know about our amazing achievements.
