8-25-2023 The First Baptist Church of Lytle Welcomes Pirate Staff Back to School with a Delicious Meal!
More than 250 Lytle Pirate employees enjoyed hospitality and a hot meal from the First Baptist Church of Lytle as they started the new school year a few weeks ago on August 4, 2023. This tradition started back in 2001 and thousands have enjoyed this generous and loving tradition over the past 20 years! Pastor James Engle, his church members and church youth (our own Lytle Pirate students) were gracious hosts. Our staff and meals were blessed, prayers for a great school year were sent up, and we were all nourished with lasagna, butter garlic toast, salad and an amazing dessert table. Pirate staff from all departments even won fabulous door prize drawings. Another big shout out to Juliana Lingo, who makes sure we have strong church/school partnerships with all our local churches. Thank you to the First Baptist Church of Lytle who made the start of our school year wonderful and welcoming.
