On last Monday, January 30, 2023, the Junior High Girls faced off with Crystal City in their last game of the season. These girls have improved so much this season and we are so proud of the growth that they showed. 

7th Grade B-Team – This was the first time the girls faced Crystal City, and while it was an aggressive game the girls stayed focused and came out on top. We won 10-8.  

Scoring for Lytle was:

  • Rosabella Cepeda – 2 points
  • Madison Hernandez – 2 points
  • Alisha Van Zant – 2 points. 

7th Grade A-Team – When the girls played Crystal City the last time, we knew that they played rough and while we tried to stay up with them it proved to be harder than we anticipated. The girls unfortunately came up short, losing 10 – 43.

8th Grade – Undefeated Season – District Champs 

What a season it has been for our 8th Grade girls. They fought hard to get to this spot, and were relentless to push towards staying undefeated. The girls started out a bit slow but once they found their groove, they were off.  The girls finished off an amazing season with a victory 35 – 13.
