Lytle Elementary Campus Grading Policy for Remote Instruction

Beginning April 6, 2020, this new grading system goes into effect for the fourth nine weeks of 2019-2020 school year.


We will grade on a culmination of data. 

  • Classwork data is collected through, conferencing, video class, work submissions, and one-on-one conversations between teacher and parent. 
  • Teachers will use a tracking system to measure student progress weekly, and be able to inform parents on student progress. 
  • Teachers will reach out to any student who has missing assignments.
  • Students are expected to submit through Google Classroom their weekly assignments.
  • Teachers should provide specific feedback on student work via Google Classroom.  In addition to bi-weekly contact with the parents to review student progress. 
  • Students will receive passing the fourth nine weeks if their over progress is 70% or higher (justifiable Progress). 

Making No to Minimal Progress (NMP)

Up to 50%

Making Limited Progress (LP)

51-69% 

Making Justifiable Progress (JP)

More than 70%

No to minimal progress toward accomplishing the learning provided in daily activities.

  • Student completes and turns in up to 50 percent of classwork.

Making limited progress toward accomplishing the daily activities.

  • Student completes and turns in approximately 51-69 percent of classwork. 

Making justifiable progress toward accomplishing the daily activities.

  • Student completes and turns in approximately more than 70 percent of classwork.
