Lytle ISD Suspends Normal District Operations Through Friday, April 24, 2020 Due To COVID-19

Lytle ISD Cerrado Hasta el 24 de Abril

Dear Lytle ISD Families,

Once again, Lytle ISD is suspending normal district operations through Friday, April 24, 2020 to support our nation’s need to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Our school facilities remain closed to students and visitors, but Lytle ISD employees are still working hard to support our Lytle ISD families for the duration:

  • Child Nutrition and Transportation Departments are providing free student meals in several convenient locations for the duration.
  • Teachers have contacted students’ parents and guardians. Remote instruction began March 23, and we’ll continue providing students with remote digital instruction and printed learning materials.
  • The Technology Department is working on procuring devices to help families who don’t have internet access at home. If you’ve already told your child’s teacher that you need internet access, no further action is required and you will be contacted as soon as a device is available.

These efforts and others will continue for the duration. If you have not established a connection with your student’s teachers, please contact them as soon as possible by email or Remind so we can work together to continue your student’s growth and learning. All Lytle ISD emails are formatted in this way:

We are actively monitoring this quickly changing situation and updates will be posted on, through email, text messaging and social media.

Thank you for your support and cooperation as we ensure that all members of our Lytle ISD community stay safe and healthy.
