    Lytle ISD is blessed to have a very talented, hard-working grounds and maintenance staff. They take great pride in their work and makes our campuses beautiful, safe, and comfortable or students, staff, and visitors. This video features the landscape design and installation work of Lytle employee Tony Lopez. He is a true artist.

  • 1-31-2019 Frances Amelia Orta Retires After 21 Years of Service to Lytle ISD

    Amelia Orta, or Frances as some of us know her, retires after 21 years of service. Not only did she drive a bus, she delivered the mail daily and also served as an occasional custodian and painter. She will be missed.

  • 11-30-2018 Pirate Clothes Closet

    Yesterday was our Grand Opening for the Pirates Clothes Closet. We had a great turnout. Many families came to get needed items. Though the community is benefitting, our Life Skills students that helped organize and assist are the ones that gained the most from this experience. The Closet will continue to be operated by our students and open weekly on Tuesdays from 9-2:00. If you know of anyone that is in need of clothing, please contact your campus counselor or the Special Education Department.

  • 11-09-2018 Lytle State Bank Shares Budget Knowledge with Lytle Students

    Coach Bryan Bippert teaches financial literacy classes at Lytle High School. He invites experts from Lytle State Bank who present financial workshops for students throughout the year. They engage students in learning about a variety of money matters - valuable preparation for post-graduate life.
