Welcome to Culinary Arts
Lytle High School CTE Culinary Arts Program of Study
Yesterday, November 19, 2023, we hosted a community Thanksgiving Dinner and it was a huge success, we served close to 300 people! We are very grateful for those that were able to show up to help prepare the meal, serve the meal and clean up after the meal. Your incredible dedication and hard work truly made this event a tremendous success, and I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to all of you.
On December 14, 2022, Lytle Collegiate High School hosted community members, students and their families, as well as local businesses and organizations to join us in appreciation of the Fine Arts. The career and technical education students in Culinary Arts prepared many appetizers and desserts for all to enjoy, in addition to barista-mixed drinks offered at the Jolly Roger Coffee Company.
The Jolly Roger Coffee Shop Grand Opening was truly a jolly good time! This wonderful event happened just before our Christmas Break, and so this summary is a bit of a throwback, but the good cheer will still warm your heart.

While we are enjoying summer, it's important to daydream a little about the great things coming up for our new school year. Take some time to watch this video, which highlights Lytle's Culinary Arts program.
Remember that week when the days were gray, cold, and drizzly? Well, at the high school and junior high, there were deliciously aromatic rays of warmth emitting from the culinary arts kitchen under the direction of Chef Stewart.
