  • 5-20-2022 Lytle Pirate Awards Ceremony

There are so many on our Lytle Pirate Staff who have been working in the district for enough years that they know many of our 2022 Grads and have been an important part of making them successful in their time with us. Even if you don't know them personally, every department, job and role filled in our schools is meaningful to their experience here. Please take a moment to read through the wonderful accolades, awards, and valuable scholarships that were earned, and know that it takes each one of us to bring these young people to the point where they walk the stage and accept their diploma from Lytle High School.

During your summer break, don't forget to reflect on the important work you do to support students PreK-12th grade. Many don't ever get to hear about the success so many of our graduating seniors enjoy as they leave our halls for the last time. It'll take a few minutes, but don't miss the opportunity to read through this list of Class of 2021 accomplishments. Thank you, again, to Mrs. Parker for gathering all this information in one place. Priceless!

  • 5-14-2021 Senior Class Scholarships

Since March 2021, Mrs. Parker, our college and readiness counselor, and I have worked to collect information on academic and extracurricular scholarships awarded to the Senior class. This group of students has worked diligently to get into universities, colleges, and vocational schools; however, acceptance into post-secondary schools is only part of the process. Scholarships are a major factor in student success, and these Seniors have amassed remarkable financial support from the schools they will attend in the summer and fall of this year.
